Mission Partners

The Abbey has five principle mission partner charities that we supports through prayer, exchange visits, volunteering and donations. These are a mixture of local, national and international charities, whose work is in accord with the vision and values of the Abbey. Each charity is the focus of the services on one Sunday of the year when there will usually be a visiting speaker from the charity and a supporters event. Each charity has a ‘champion' who is a member of the Abbey congregation and acts as the Abbey’s link to the charity, keeping in touch with supporters. Regular charity updates are given through the weekly news sheet. Contact missioner@bathabbey.org if you would like to know more. Thank you for your support.

Unseen is a UK charity with its head office in Bristol. We provide safehouses and support in the community for survivors of trafficking and modern slavery. We also run the UK Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline and work with individuals, communities, business, governments, other charities and statutory agencies to stamp out slavery for good.

Ripple Effect (previously Send A Cow) is an organisation that brings smallholder farmers together to learn more, grow more and sell more. They can feed their families nutritious food, and with a surplus to sell can invest in their farms, send their children to school and build sustainable agri-businesses.

Wycliffe’s vision, in partnership with our supporters, is that everyone will have access to God’s word in the language that speaks to them best. The Bible changes lives – and so does the work of translating the Bible.
