Experience an unforgettable evening with Russell Watson, hailed as one of the world’s greatest classical singers, in the stunning setting of Bath Abbey. Accompanied by the world-renowned pianist, Mike Moran, this concert promises a magical night of classic songs and hits from Russell’s illustrious career.
Russell Watson, described by the New York Times as a performer “who sings like Pavarotti and entertains the audience like Sinatra,” has released ten studio albums, each receiving critical acclaim. His debut album, ‘THE VOICE,’ topped the UK charts for a record 52 weeks and simultaneously held the number one spot in the USA, making him the first British male to achieve this feat. Over his career, Russell has sold over 7 million albums and performed for The Queen, The Pope, and two US Presidents. He is also a four-time Classical Brit Award winner.
The evening will also feature special guest Nancy May, a classical crossover soprano from Essex who trained at the Royal Northern College of Music. Nancy is known for her charity performances, including the Grenfell memorial service at Westminster Abbey. She has released her debut album ‘With Love’ and an EP titled ‘Why Not,’ both available on Spotify and iTunes.
