Remembrance Concert by Candlelight
On this emotional and poignant weekend hear the renowned Abbey choirs give a moving performance of Brahms’
A German Requiem.
Written in 1865 and believed to be inspired by the death of his mother, it includes the famous setting of Psalm 84 – How lovely is thy dwelling place.
Performed by candlelight and including the Piano duet and poignant readings – the evening will be one of remembrance and reflection with hope for peace and reconciliation.
